Henry Cavil's Sherlock is not half as impressive as Cumberbatch or RDJ, and it doesn't have to be so, because this time it is the detectives little sister who steals the show. The new Netflix original 'Enola Holmes' is based on the first part of Nancy Springer's 'The Enola Holmes Mystery Box'. Watch it for two good hours of brilliant acting from Millie Bobby Brown. The Stranger Things star has proven once again that she can pull off any role with ease. The movie is an even paced coming of age drama. Though the thriller part is underdone, it is most certainly a neatly made origin story for the young detective.
SYNOPSIS
Enola is brought up by her widowed mother (also a secret member of the women's suffrage movement). On her sixteenth birthday, Enola wakes up to find her mother missing. The highly trained and gifted young girl now has to decipher a series of puzzles left by her mother , and deal with a boy who has a crush on her. While Sherlock tries to help Enola get back to her mother, elder brother Microft has other plans for her. Can she find her mother? Watch it on Netflix (or telegram like I did🤫) to find out.
