What is Chase the Killer?
Chase the Killer is an ONLINE - CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION game event conducted by the student community iMech NSS. The game event starts on October 30, 2020.
Event will be through the online platform Telegram. This is the first LIVE CSI game event in the world in which you can interact live with the story and characters in it. In this game event, you will have to solve a series of mysterious cases through the evidence you collect from the game.

How to Play this game?
You can play this game as a detective to prove the case, in the comfort of your home. You will be provided with some evidence to start the investigation with a supporting story. Then on you will have to collect other evidences such as statements, reports like FIR, CCTV footage, etc and study/examine them to find the clues and links hiding in it. Those findings will lead you forward in the game.
There are many departments, authorities, characters, etc all along the game to help you in the case. You can collect evidence, cross-match them, verify your findings and clear your doubts there. Sometimes, you will have to use search engines to find the facts.

HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN PLAY this game?
Chase The Killer is fun to play on your own (SOLO), with a friend or with a group. However, the maximum number of participants in a team cannot exceed than 3.

Who can play this game?
The appropriate age level to play this game is above 13 years old. Any Indian citizen can play this game as solo or team. But the participant should be able to communicate in English or Malayalam.

How to Register for this Game event?

Pay entry fee (Gpay number/Direct bank transfer- Given in google form)

No. The story and characters in this game are entirely fictitious.
Our amazing team members work together to create the game event. It takes months of planning, play-testing, and endless creativity to successfully produce this event, Chase the Killer.
We create our story with enthralled, challenged, excited and twisted.
Players will feel realistic

DO I NEED THE INTERNET TO PLAY CHASE THE KILLER?
Yes,in order to complete Chase The Killer game you will need to communicate with the departments like police, forensic etc. Also you will be leaded to pre-set character conversations. This will happen via telegram and requires internet connection.

DOES EVERYONE START ON THE SAME TIME?
Yes.
Everyone who competes in the game is trying to solve the same case. Whoever finish the game first by catching the criminals behind the crimes with enough evidence will be declared as winners. So, in order to make the opportunity equal for all, the game will start on specified time on October 30, 2020.
Anyway, you can start your investigation and proceed on your own time. It depends upon you.

I HAVE FOUND NEW EVIDENCE/LEADS. HOW TO SUBMIT THEM?
You may submit your findings/evidence to the Police department as a normal chat or voice note. You will be connected to to the Police department (which is a telegram account) when you start your investigation. Also send the evidence (be it a photo, idea, search results,or anything) you have found on your investigation along with it.

HOW TO VERIFY AN EVIDENCE/ COLLECT NEW EVIDENCE?
There are many services providers in the game such as Police department, Forensic department, Unique Identification Authority, Telecommunication provider, Motor Vehicle Authority, etc.
You will get access to those services according to your improvements. You may request to them for their service, if you have gained the access to them from the Police. Be specific and clear on request.
